These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website, services, and SMS communications offered by Meridian Nurse Recruiters Inc. ("Meridian," "we," "us"). By using our website, submitting an inquiry, applying for a position, requesting staffing, or opting in to SMS messages, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

1. About Meridian

Meridian Nurse Recruiters Inc. is a healthcare staffing agency placing licensed nurses (LPNs and RNs) with client facilities, including long-term care, post-acute, and rehabilitation providers across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Florida.

2. Services

Meridian connects nurses with client facilities and provides related services, including recruiting, credentialing support, scheduling coordination, and operational communications. Use of our services does not create an employment, agency, or fiduciary relationship except as separately documented in a written agreement.

3. SMS messaging program

Meridian operates an SMS messaging program for candidates and clients. By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on a Meridian form, by replying to a Meridian message, or by giving express consent in person or by phone, you agree to receive SMS messages from Meridian.

• Program name: Meridian Nurse Recruiters SMS.
• Message types: recruiting outreach, scheduling, shift coordination, assignment and placement confirmations, credentialing reminders, and operational notifications.
• Message frequency: message frequency varies based on engagement; up to several messages per week.
• Opt out: reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages.
• Help: reply HELP to any message, or contact us at (718) 255-5830 or jobs@meridiannurse.com.
• Message and data rates may apply. Charges depend on your wireless carrier and plan.
• Supported carriers: Major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Consent is not a condition. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of employment, placement, hiring, or any service Meridian provides.

Mobile information (phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent data) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

4. Healthcare and HIPAA

Meridian follows applicable healthcare privacy laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA") when it applies. Protected health information ("PHI") is not transmitted by SMS. Do not send PHI to Meridian by text message. SMS communications with Meridian are limited to recruiting, scheduling, and operational coordination and must not include PHI.

5. Your obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and truthful information, including license, credential, and employment details.
• Only opt in using a mobile number you own or are authorized to use, and to keep your contact information current.
• Use the services only for lawful purposes consistent with your role (candidate or client).
• Not misuse, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt Meridian's website, systems, or messaging services.

6. Intellectual property

The Meridian website, content, logos, and trademarks are owned by Meridian or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

7. No professional or medical advice

Content on this website is general information about Meridian and our services. It is not legal, medical, or employment advice. For advice specific to your situation, consult an appropriate professional.

8. Disclaimers

The website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meridian and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the website, services, or SMS messaging program. Meridian's total liability for any claim related to the services will not exceed one hundred dollars (US $100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Meridian harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the services, or your violation of applicable law.

11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms is the state or federal courts located in Nassau County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the services after we post changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
