Description:

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the supporting the Supply Planning Team as it relates to customer fulfillment, replenishment, invoicing and reconciliations for imported cheese products. The Supply Planning coordinator is also responsible for supporting the analysis of inventory to meet company goals and objectives; The position works closely with the Managers of Supply Planning and teams, Logistics, Customer Service, Legal, Brand Owners, Marketing, Sales, IT and Database. The Supply Planning Coordinator will assist and participate in relevant projects as assigned by / to the Operations Division.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Replenishment / Inventory Management / Reporting
– Assist with managing replenishment orders and receipts – involves inventory and order management, and data entry. Ensure that product is available and delivered to customers in the most efficient, timely and cost-effective manner.
– Inventory analysis and reconciliation – assist with the investigation and resolution of discrepancies in monthly reconciliations with accounting. Assist with daily/weekly/Ad-Hoc reporting.

Consumptions
– Responsible for entering all consumptions into company’s central DB. Identify discrepancies and work on resolution with appropriate Supply Planning Manager, Supply Planning Analyst, Pricing Analyst, and Finance Representative.

Ad Hoc / Analytical Support
– Responsible for implementing forward looking tools and supply chain processes to become a leader within the consumer goods environment. Work closely with the IT Team to assist in development and testing of new applications for JDE, Anaplan, etc.

Nature & Scope: Position typically works with all levels of employees within the corporation and is knowledgeable on many aspects of import operations and procedures. Communication will include contacts within and outside the company, specifically with foreign suppliers.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain prefered.

Experience/Background: Requires 0-2 years of previous analytical, supply chain and/or distribution experience.

Working Conditions: Work is usually performed in an office setting, with limited demands for movement and lifting.

Travel: Minimal
Estimate: < 5%

Required Skills:
Required Skills/Competencies: Requires high level of analytical, problem solving, and excellent communication skills. Ability to organize, multi-task and manage area to achieve results and track performance so that problems are detected early or prevented entirely. Must have excellent working knowledge of MS Office with expertise in Excel and ideally an ERP system. Must be able to work as an individual as well as within a team environment, including working across various departments and business units.
